תיאור כללי: עמוד מסמך ארכיוני בכתב יד (דיו), באנגלית, מתוך תיק "IAA ATQ 165 Nablus 2nd Jacket" - כנראה דו"ח של פקח עתיקות (Inspector of Antiquities) המתאר גילוי קבר/מערת קבורה חצובה בסלע באזור נבלוס, כולל סרקופגים ומימצאי קרמיקה. הכתב מוטה, קורסיבי, ברור ברובו. בשוליים השמאליים (בכתב יד סובב לאורך הדף, בכיוון אנכי) חתימה: שם ותפקיד. בגוף הדף כמה כתמים/פגמים (עיגולים אפורים-כחלחלים - כנראה סימני נזק/רטיבות בנייר המקורי).

From the western wall a regular door lead into
another chamber very roughly cut in the rock. It
is also roughly square about 4 m. a side and 1.90 m.
high. The chamber contained five stone sarcophagi
lying in a disturbed condition a strong proof
that the tomb was opened long ago and looted by
Antique robbers. Four of the coffins are life-size
with an average measurements of 1.90 m. long by
50 cm. wide by 50 cm. high and one for a child
measuring 1.32 m. x 44 cm. x 44 cm.. All of them were
fitted with lids in the above described shape, but
owing to their looting these now lie broken on the floor.
Nearly all the sarcophagi have simple ornamentations
on their sides, such as square or round bosses.

When first the discovery was reported to the
Police and D.O. the police entered the tomb and found
two pots with little breaks. They were received by
me and kept now in my office:
— 1. Juglet - ring base, ribbed, with one handle and a spout,
    rim slightly broken. Meas. 13½ h. x 10 cm. across body.
— 2. Small cooking pot - ribbed, one handle, a little broken 9½ cm. h.

The owner applies for a permission to clear the chamber
and make use of one as a store-room [and] other as [a] cesspit.

But as I do not find it necessary for our Dept. to
incur any expences [sic] for the clearance I recommend allowing the
owner to do the work himself provided that an appointment in
time will be made with me to attend the work which the owner
undertakes to accomplish in two days only, in order to make record
of everything which might be found and specially to take measurments [sic]
for making the plan, as this was not possible at the present condit[ion]
