I have now obtained the Blue Print of proposed gate[?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
prepared by P.W.D. architect.

2. The gate with pillars does not fill the bill as the [?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
stands in a plot which will become waste land if gateway of [?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
only is made.

3. I show sketch of position.

4. The proposals of D.O. Nablus, Mayor of Nablus and se[?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
(we had a meeting on the site on 26th instant) are to get ow[ner?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
of land to extend his wall of property westward to red line, [?]
antiquities to take over balance of site and fence same in t[o?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
prevent it becoming a rubbish depot.

5. If this is done, the Municipality will keep the key [?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
probably see that place is kept clean.

6. Work necessary is approximately £E. 45 for removing
rubbish now collected at entrance to tomb and providing fenc[e?] [לא קריא - חתוך]
and gate as shewn in sketch.
